RE: why are black people so angry?

Well, I had to stop and read on that one. I am A Native American Indian, not white, not hispanic, Indian. And I have several African American friends, and I am the first to tell you that I am in no way predjudist. But, Since someone had to ask this question, I had to add my own .... I think, that when you have grown up in a black family, it seems that you already got it from day one. I mean how many black mothers lie and sugar coat the truth of life to their kids? Have you ever seen a black mother tell her kids to go sit in a corner...no! And tell me just how many black people have respect for their piers and their family. Blacks had to work at getting recognization! Simply beacuse of the past, people never really overlooked what they did, and would you be the first American to admit you were wrong? probably not. They are humans just like we are, as far as their rights? they have them too.....

For so long now, blacks have been treated with no repect and they have fought for what rights they have now....just what exactly did they do to begin with? And how many of you have seen the movie CRASH?? if you havent seen it i ask that you do! We dont even realize the looks on our face when we see a black man walking down the street, we dont realize what expression we have just given, and how would you like it if every time you walked down the street, you got the same reaction, you hold your purse closer, you grab onto ur boyfriend, you walk the other way, you simply appear nervious.....

So, in all, if you have always been treated like this, and name calling, racial profiling, and always recieving an attitude for something you havent even done yet, WOULDNT YOU BE ANGRY???

Im not saying that they dont discipline the same way as we do, Im sayin that they DO discipline and do it firmly! Which is why they respect their family, the mothers and such....

My posting shouldnt make anyone mad, And it surely didnt intend on offending anyone, it is a touchy subject, i understand that. But Im saying the have been treated diffrently, and thats whats wrong with this world. Someone always has to be better, and someone always has to make more money, ...And so on and so on, But after all these years, they still have to fight, they still are being subjected to racial unfreedom!

I'm a black veteran, and the reason that I'm angry is that the army abandon me when I got shot in combat, and I'm really angry at how all of this Mexicans are coming and taking over the black neighborhoods in Dallas. 10 years ago, when I went to the mall, all I would see were black people, now all I see are Mexicans by the hundreds talking in Spanish. Mexicans moved by my home and every night they blast their Spanish music screaming and carrying on. In Dallas, you have to speak Spanish to be a principal. They run the school districts. In LA, some of them attack blacks because they live in mostly Mexican neighborhoods. I was not racist until they did those marches demanding that American allow them to be here. This is why I'm angry. Come to Dallas, Its like being in Mexico. I had to go buy me a gun, because a lot of my white friends cars have been broken into by Mexicans. A lot of them don't like us, so I don't like them. I hate them more than than I hate a racist skinhead or some one in the KKK, because they affect me and my people more now.

Do you know how many years all the different races have suffered under opresion and persecution ONE race alone in the Jews have endured many more years than 400 and thats just them.

Black people are "angry" because of their parenting. They are taught to be outspoken and liberal about their expressions. They dont have any angst about expressing theselves.

Also they are taught at a young age that they always geta raw deal from EVERYONE...they are taight that some are angry at them, many fear them and most believe that they act a certain way so they fall into all of that with no one to tell them they need to break free of it.

I think its fake. I don't think they are honestly mad. How can they be mad? They do have the same rights as us, and they are always looking for a reason to say that someone was racist against them. Cry me a river. What happened to black people a long time a go was sad, and I do feel bad. But that was so long ago. Get the hell over, blacks are more racist then anybody. They always say that white people are so racist to them and that they are treated so different. Its just an excuse to be lazy.

oh for cryin' out loud, if a movie made you whine like this maybe you should stick to Disney cartoons. yes everyone is oppressed for some reason or another, the Indians are oppressed because the white man took their land, the blacks are oppressed because they were slaves, the Mexicans are oppressed because we won't give them back their land, even the illegal immigrants are oppressed because we don't want them here. yes yes everyone is oppressed for some reason, never mind that this all happened very long ago and very very few who have actually lived it is still alive (with the exception of the illegals) but every descendant sure wants the world to feel sorry for them for what happened to their ancestors. here's a thought why don't you spend your time doing something worthwhile, like advocating for abused children, or animals, or the homeless, because right now you sound like just one more whiner

Bull, black people raise thier kids the same way as everyone does in the same social and economic area.

many bet the tar out of thier kids if they do wrong, just like alot of white or oriental people do.

My wife was black and the most stupid thing we ever were asked "are you going to raise them white or black" for our child.
There is no difference, her family were from upper middle class and mine from lower upper class, so we were very close to the same background.

It is those ideas like you posted that make most mad, like they are different from everyone else because of skin color

...Blacks should be proud of their heritage.. And for their leader(s) of past time. They have every right to be angry, however, they have more of a right to be happy and proud of their ancestry.

I'll tell you one thing though.. The Americans as a whole-- you name it, any race of legal citizenship against pro-illegalism will be angry, and should be angry if their government grants amnesty to illegals in the first place.

Wouldn't that piss you off? Don't you believe that if someone were to steal from you, cheat your government, cheat you of your hard earned money, and lie to you and others of your homeland, might you be just a lil bit ticked off?

God forbid if that were to happen. But I guarentee American citizens (DOCUMENTED CITIZENS) won't take that ****!

You need to look up Bill Cosby's thought on the issue. My feeling is they got no right to be angry.....they get more breaks than the whites anymore......example: I could not afford to send my son's to college, but made too much for grants....but if they had been black.....guess what?? They could have gone!!! I believe all are equal in God's eyes, yes, well let us all be equal then.....and quit cryin about it......
