You can go to a party supply store such as Party City for plates, napkins, goody bags and the candy to fill them. Most dollar stores will fill balloons with helium cheaper than buying a tank of your own. You could go to a craft store like Micheal's or Hobby Lobby or even orientaltrading.com and get some crafts to make. They should have some tiaras or wands that they can decorate. Have fun!

Decorations:
Streamers and balloons!! I'm sure you can find sleeping beauty ones at a party store. The cake is a decoration.
For your daughter's 4 year-old party, you can find a picture of Sleeping beauty off the internet for everyone to color. Do this when they first arrive. Then you can all eat (if you have pizza or something), then everyone can make "princess crowns". Have them already cut out in the strips, and they can decorate them with glue and jewels or stickers. Or get some string a beads to make "Princess braclets". Then you can have a puppet show about sleeping beauty, or a clown that will draw a crown on their face, and make balloon shapes, or something the kids can just relax for entertainment. (I try and stay away from games- it becomes to much of a headache), then have the cake/ice cream/ presents. Favour bags at the end - that's enough for a 4 year-old's b-day.

Well, my stepson will also be 4 in September. What a coincidence! lol. Anyway, for 2 of his birthday parties in the past, I have had them at our city park because there was a lot of room and there is always the playground equipment which at this age they love....As far as decorating, it just all depends on what you want to spend. I have found in the past so many ideas at dollar stores. Even if you can't find Sleeping Beauty party favors or decorations, look to maybe trying to get the pretty colors of that story. I picture sparkles and stardust for princess parties...let the kids create their own crowns and also if you have all the little girls dress up in little princess outfits of some kind. Little girls love dress up you know...Have a princess tea with cake and Kool aid or whatever you choose. How about a princess pinata? We had one for my step son last year and it was a giant hit. The kids loved it....Well good luck to you on this...

For the decoration...decorate the party in Sleeping Beauty colors, like the color of her dress. Have a few pictures of Sleeping Beauty. On the table, you should have a tiara for each little girl. Have a few jewels to decorate the table too.
Crafts...have the girls cut out their own tiara, and have them write their name on it. Have them also draw their own jewelry.
Games, let them play a princess game. You may found a game in the store that has the different princesses on it. Also let them watch a princess cartoon before bed, such as " Sleep Beauty", " Snow White", etc.
You can make cupcakes for the girls to take home along with their candy bags. The cupcakes can be decorated with pretty candy jewels.

Go to partyamerica.com or birthdayexpress.com these will help in decor as well as games. pinatas are fun for little ones to they have the ones where you pull the strings to see who is the lucky one instead of beating it with a bat. I would suggest a few little ones over for some slumber time like sleepover and camp out with the sleeping beauty pop up tent you can get at target. My daughter had a party like this. Lots of great ideas on the sites as well
good luck and enjoy your little one being 4.

Magic tricks...see the wonder in your child's eyes....several little gifts...and perhaps make it a "Mad tea Party!" Read a short short story....to her and her friendsabout what the importandce of reconizing a birthday means. They have often said that children come into the age of reason at appx 7...i disagree. I remember my new outfit, and two new hats, well I had never had an ld one but I felt so sphisticateed! I pink or blue patentleather purse..and the DVD of her dreams.
Fave cake and ask what SHE wants to do......i shared my presents with my friends...pin the tailk on the donkey....funny and very fun games with prizes...oh yes...this wil be the birthday she will never forget..if money is an issue here then fine tune what I recommended..my mother did this for me on a shoe string....I never ever forgot.
Sleeping beauty was great, but whe slept......who will dress as flora fauna and meriweather? I would opt for the other Disney ladies as well as they werre all awake and all lived.....happily ever after! but I stand fast on the mad tea party!...she of course being the Princess of honour!

I know that if you have a party city where youlive they have just about any kind of party you want. At my daughters bday party each girl got a princess gift back which included a princess wand, some plastic sunglasses, a princess crown, and some candy. we had a cake that was shaped like a castle and straberry ice cream to match the princess theme. we also had a castle princess pinata. everything was decorated in pink and purple. It was a succesful bday party. Good luck and hope everything goes as planned!

Have the party outside if the climate at your location will allow it. This will help ALOT on the cleanup. You can get the Disney Princess plates, napkins, etc. at WalMart and they aren't too expensive. Just get pink and white balloons and streamers, don't worry about the Disney kind because the girls will never notice.
As far as games and/or crafts, don't go too far. Maybe musical chairs or pin the tail, but not much more. Children this age are good at entertaining themselves.
Good luck, and tell your little one happy bday!

you can make simple crowns or princess hats. You can premake them a week or so before and then let the kids decorate with stickers, markers, those sticky foam stickers, glue on gems, ect. Could also do fairy wands instead.
For a bday cake, do the half ball cake, cut a hole in the center and put a naked barbie doll in the center, then decorate with frosting into a dress.
you could also paint all the girl's toes with nail polish, and do thier hair up in ribbons.
do a modified version of pin the tail on the donkey with a picture of sleeping beauty (or her prince) and a crown instead.

you could get out old dresses, or even go shopping at second hand stores and collect "pretty" dresses"...then have the girls dress up like pretty princesses. also you could set up a craft table and have them all make thier own princess crown. if you have a swing set or something like that (a park playground) you could have your daughter stand up in a "tower" (like a club house or even a decorated cardboard box) then have a grown-up be the dragon or wicked step mother, or something like that...then the other kids have to rescue the princess from the dragon/evil step mother..you could use water ballons or even paper swords
these are just off the top of my head...hope they help
