The brand UltraSwim has a great line of shampoos and conditioners for swimmers. Not only do these products gently cleanse the harsh chemicals and mineral buildup out of your hair, but they also protect the hair from further damage. I would highly suggest these. As for the skin, use Dove body wash which contains a quarter moisterizer. Also use lotion directly after bathing as your skin is still be damp then and when you put on the lotion, it locks in the moisture. Also, exfoliate one to two times a week. Good luck, hope I helped :)

There are actually a lot of products on the market that are good for you, but the first step is to make sure you rinse off just as soon as you can when you're done practicing/playing. It's the chlorine in the pool that's drying you out.

Look for a shampoo that removes chlorine: one good one is called Ultra Swim which is available at most drug stores. (If you have a Walgreens near you, I know most of them cary it.) There's a brand called Chlor-Off that is also good (a little more pricey than Ultra Swim). Lush (http://www.lush.com) has a shampoo called "Big Shampoo" that rinses out chlorine. Another product is called Tri-Swim....there are tons more.

Be sure to condition your hair in addition to washing it and whenever you can, let it air dry instead of blowing it dry--heat only magnfies the damage.

For your skin, just be sure you're washing thoroughly with soap and water and use a good moisturizer. Look for a moisturizer with Vitamin E in it, that's particularly good for fighting dryness.

Finally, make sure you're getting enough water in your diet, whether it's in the foods you eat or through drinking it.

Try wearing a swimmer cap for the hair & apply waterproof mosteriser for the body. Helps to reduce over dry skin condition. Also choose a pool that doesn't put a lot of clorine in the water.

Chlorine is what is drying your skin and hair out....For the skin i would suggest on taking a shower as soon as possible and putting lotion on. Same with the hair...Try to get the chlorine out as soon as possible. You may want to use a special shampoo specified for swimmers. (i use head and shoulders)
