Any Animal like humans can be sensitive to the dust, pollen and other agents on the air. You can Wash his/her eyes with Saline solution (Boraqua) is a good one. Do this for 2 days if you see your horse is not getting better take it to the Vet.

Hello:
Just like humans, equine species can get the same types of infections. It sounds like your horse has what is called bacterial conjunctivitis ( conjunctiva=the skin on the inside of the eyelids and part of the white part of the eye+ "itis" = inflammation). That is the root words for conjunctivitis. A simple antibacterial eye drop or ointment can be obtained by your veterinarian and will cure the infection. the redness on the white part of the eyes is simply some inflammation associated with the infection.
Call you vet and give him/her the signs and symptoms and he/she will probably give you some antibiotics. It usually takes a few days to see results and within a week the infection usually resolves.

If it is cleopatra's needle the eyes less than floor,with purely the sharp end exhibiting so I timber imagine it would not see some thing. i'm confident she were given bored stiff with Julius Caesar,Mark Antony and some pharoahs poking about.it truly is why she performed with an Asp (snake)

yellow drainage could be infection, and his eys is red.
Should be looked at by a vet, and get some eye drops for him.

My horse ahd this once, she got it from another pony sharing the same paddock. Your horse will need eye drops and you will ahve to put them in as prescribed by your vet :) Poor love..I love horses still :)

pinkeye. also called conjunctivitis.
It's an infection of the eye (or an allergy) which is highly contagious.
