I can't believe how many jerks and idiots have responded to your question. This is a serious matter and all of those that didn't say you should see a doctor should be ashamed of themselves. I'd like to slap each of there faces at least 2 or3 times. How dare they assume you are joking.
If you are hearing voices you should go to see your doctor as soon as possible. If you are hearing voices that tell you to harm yourself or someone else then you need to go to a hospital emergency room right away. I used to work as a Registered Nurse on a psychiatric unit for over 20 years so I am very familiar
with these things.
There are may people who have had this type of problem and doctors are very good at treating this. If you are young and living at home you need to tell your parents about this so that they can help you.
God bless you.

Do you hear the voices ONLY in your room? Or elsewhere as well? Could the voices be coming from somewhere else through a vent in the room? Do you know what they are saying? A TV from another room perhaps? There's also the possibility of spirits, if you believe in that sort of thing.

how old is your house? and how long has this been going on?
dont worry/ ghosts will only scare you and pull pranks on you. its the demons you should worry about.
first trim all of the trees that are up close to your house/let some sunshine in/and try to make your home as cheery as you can. and maybe the moaning and voices will go away'at least for a while.
e mail me for further assistance.

Short and sweet. Since you have not given enough information as to how long and if the onset was sudden and no age, etc. I will tell you what some of my patients do. The pull in their headsets and listen to the walkman very loudly. some just are able to watch t.v. Then you need to seek medical attention, soon. There are really good meds out there but you need to see a doc. Do it soon.

You need to have an evaluation by a Psychiatrist. This is a
psychological problem. Your probably psychotic. they may
put you on Seroquel to help you with your symptoms.
But you need to go to the doctor - or else they will not stop.
Mine stopped with the meds.
Make the time to go to see a good Dr. :)

okay, i know what i'm talking about. hearing voices is common. it's called "psychosis". no i'm serious. but it's not unusual. if you go to a psychiatrist this is a question they ask everyone, and if you do, they give you an anti-psychotic such as risperdol or abilify. just see a psychiatrist. it's very common and treatable.
