I'll ignore the physics of putting 100 cats and a pit bull in a 10x10 room and also assume it's an empty room with closed windows and doors and they do not need to breathe. And no legal bodies find out. My imagination goes as far as:-
1. The pit bull would be scarred for life as 100 cats spit and hiss at it.
2. One or two cats will die of broken bones and the pit bull will die from the pain of a thousand scratches on its body (no time for infection to set in).
3. They would all go to sleep until you open the door for them to go out, each giving you a nice memento for putting them in such a place as they pass by.

A ten by ten room with 100 cats? Well, one, you'd be arrested. Two, the cats would dye from lack of space I supposed. Three, it depends on the pit bull's temperment...the kitties might be safe...or not.

Maybe nothing. Most pit bulls are cute and cuddly and lots of pit bulls like cats. Get your info straight.

My pit bull would do absolutely nothing. Since he was raised around my 3 cats since he was a puppy. In fact, if my cats hiss at him, he backs off, and walks off in the other direction. He likes cats, but he gets cautious of them when they hiss. My cats used to claw him in the face when he would walk up to them to play. Your question should've been: "What would happen if you put a bloodthirty Chow-Chow in a room full of cats?"

In 100 minutes, you'd have 100 dead cats and 100 citations for animal cruelty! My friend had a two Jack Russell Terriers that were hired to kill rats at a Thorobred racetrack that was overrun with them. In one feed room they killed 64 rats in less than 20 minutes.

It depends on the dog...all of them that I know would just drool on the cats and probably sleep cuddled with them....
