there are products that are made to help loosen the braids. if you go into a hair store you should be able to find something like braid-ease that will help you out. you spray it on the braid, wait a little and it loosens things right up.
it also helps to not keep braids in too long as they tend to tangle up a little as the hair grows out.
also the larger the braid, the easier it is to undo afterwards.

WOW, shes way young for those kinds of braids but to each his own.
no easy way, go slow or you will rip her hair out. try to find something else for her to do while you work on her hair or plan a late night and do it while she is sleep.
