I love going to the "Sweet Tomatoes" restaurant when we travel. Unfortunately we do not have any close to where we live.
I love their cream of mushroom soup & wished I could make it at home.
Anyone have any recipe like it & have tried it ?

Sweet Tomatoes Mushroom Soup Recipe

2016-10-29 22:14:22 · answer #2 · answered by jacquelin 4 · 0 0

My basic cream of mushroom soup recipe is merely a white sauce, made with milk or milk and water. Once that sauce is made, I add sauteed chopped mushrooms, the brown or white ones that are in any supermarket, usually having sauteed a little garlic along with the mushrooms. Then I let that sit, very warm but not simmering because it will burn, for 10 minutes or so to let the mushroom flavour get through the whole thing. It tastes an awful lot like Campbell's but better. A tiny bit of chicken bouillon powder is good but if you don't use that then add some salt. If you want to change up the taste, use any kind of mushroom you like. Or saute a little onion with them. Add dill, or tarragon, or black pepper, or white wine. Just remember to take it very easy on any seasonings, Mushroom is a delicate flavour and it's easy to overpower it. Add a tiny bit of seasoning, mix it in, then taste before adding more.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aU4sm

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

it's easy ...

-find a few small sweet tomatoes. (as requested)
-shredded button mushroom (as requested)
-corn starch (makes it sticky and creamy)
-black pepper and salt (seasoning)
-some chicken soup (with chicken)
-large onions
-some milk (so it will turn creamy)
-some cheese / cheese powder(not too much... for some lovely taste)
-some corn bits
-stir it and drink it.

Well cooking depends on your design and creation... Just dump everything slowly and you'll be a chef of your own. =D
