I remember...... It was taught to me, by my elders & the white mans boarding school teachers. I remember both sides of the story. Which do you think that I believe? The so called "invasion" was not "illegal" in any sense of the word, it was a conquest of an indigenous peoples homeland for colonization & exploitation of the lands riches & resources. The fact that the Natives would fight and die rather than become like white men is a sad part of American history. As far as assimilation is concerned, Many Whites did assimilate into Native cultures, marrying native women and becoming like the Natives who they admired,& respected. Many White women were kidnapped and forcibly made to assimilate in order to produce children who were neither white or native, those ones were hated by both sides, accepted by neither. I remember many things about that of which you speak. You only have a small part of the story, which you twisted to try to create something you can never have until you become righteous. You do not have the truth. I suggest you go find the truth and begin teaching the truth to your people so they will know what the truth sounds like.

Well Geeze Cochise, I don't know. Maybe because 500 years ago it seemed like a good idea. I mean why didn't the indians do a better job fighting back? Why? because they were savages! They were too busy fighting their little wars amongst themselves. As to assimilating into Indian culture, yes, sure, like anyone would give up 1) Irish linen shirts, 2) timepieces, 3) hard-soled boots, 4) copper pots for cooking, 5) steel blades, 6) brass candlesticks to hold 7) candles for 8) reading and 9) writing, perhaps while wearing 10) spectacles... this list could go on for some time, you know.

and what they like doing is allowing illegal immigrants in to america, so labour costs are smaller and profits are higher, and so the poor of america will fight the immigrants instead of noticing the big thieves - so they cut back the budgets of the immigration department, and pass the word not to enforce the immigration laws much

the founding fathers said that the land of the free would last only as long as wealth didnt concentrate - so you did nothing for 200 years while wealth concentrated - now you are getting poorer [or getting richer much more slowly than the rich are, which comes to the same thing] and therefore less and less powerful, more and more enslaved -

the superrich have sucked the poor, now they are sucking the middle class like a milkshake - they know this will cause violence, and so they are building massive prisons to lock up all the people who object to the final sucking of america, before the superrich move on to suck japan and china

meanwhile the hardest worker cannot work more than about 50% harder than the average - the average homemaker works 70-90 hours a week

Land was acquired through war back then, as the Native Americans forced each other from their respective territories, as the Spanish conquered the natives in Mexico.

The Native Americans weren't forced to share their schools and pay for health care, school and food stamps for the Europeans' children, either.

Illegal? Under which law? What sovereign nation was invaded? The Native Americans weren't unified aside from regional alliances. No offense, I don't agree with the genocide of the Native Americans but this argument isn't valid as the word "illegal" is not feasible.

Disease wiped most out. And the tribes were not united-they fought among themselves. Without many tribes-many would not have survived the first winter. History is interesting.

This hate you promote is off base. Many here on posts have Indian blood somewhere in them. and visa-versa.

Many were invited-not by illegally standards-by many tribes. Some disagreed and those were fought with by the other tribes and the newcomer. (See Texas history-New Mexico). They lost probably by a lack of numbers because they had good reasoning and a good minds.

So-please read some good history books and not just brief, it is very interesting. And you would see your question is wrong.
