Put a drop of rubbing alcohol in the ear to dry up the water

Either: 1) put a few drops of rubbing alcohol in the ear canal (alcohol causes water to evaporate) or 2) aim a hair dryer (blower) about 8-12 inches from the ear for 10-15 seconds (the jet of air will blow out much of the water, and the heat will evaporate the rest). Good swimming!!!

The best method: bend your neck to the side so your ear (the one with the water in it) is right on top of your shoulder and cover your other ear with your hand and jump on one foot. If it's your right ear, jump on your right foot.

Use a swab or lay your ear on a pillow/towel until the water rolls out. You'll feel it, trust me.

I lay with my ear flat to a pillow and wait for it to drip out and then do the same for the other side.

There are some products over the counter for this, however just a drop or two of alcohol should do the trick.

Use the alcohol you have in your medicine cabinet.

Pour a cap full
Lean head to the side
Pour it in the affected ear
Lean head to the opposite side

Repeat

You're fine!

You can buy a product called swimmers ear. I use it on my grandchildren. It doesn't cost a lot at the drug store.
