If I broke a law I would know I am subject to the consequences on the books for breaking that law. Why should we pay for your children's education, which is so expensive other countries don't subsidize that service for their poor, when as a result my own children's education fails?

There are reasons we limit the number of poor immigrants who can come. Even if they pay all taxes, they pay little. Meanwhile they are subsidized in basic services like education, and are propped up through the social safety net which we will drain and then some when the baby boomers retire.

It sounds like you are speaking of the reservation I come from, which is in the heart of AMERICA.We have 50%or more unemployment at any given time. We simply find a way to survive without many of the luxuries of life and get by with the basics, food every few days, shelter of some kind, heat if you got furniture to burn. We also remember when things were really bad & give thanks for the good times. We dont run off to another country and become instant criminals. There is always a way to survive, even if it kills you. If all that happened to a sufficient number of citizens in any country, I would expect them to start a revolution! For that matter, what would Mexican illegal immigrants do if there was no United States across the border? If they were bordered by another third world country? Maybe they would make sure their own country behaved differently to their citizens ... but no, it's all too easy to jump over the border and grab hold of what isn't theirs to grab hold of ... if all these Mexicans who are here illegally and waving their flags merrily and chanting **** about the U.S. at the same time did the same in their own country, there may be some changes there ... fat chance ....

Hey I hear you! But I'm sorry we are a nation of laws for a reason. Mexico has much stricter immigration laws then we do. They need to follow our laws no exception, if that sounds racist then I'm sorry but that's reality. 3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

5. Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.
