I flew alone for the first time when I was like 12. You are safe to fly alone and since you are a minor you will have a flight attendant help you from gate to gate. So you won;t get lost. Either ways...the airport is the safest place you can be in. Be the light attendants will make sure that you won;t be alone. That is their job. Especially when you are a minor. YOU DO NOT NEED O PAY EXTRA FOR A PERSON TO ESCORT YOU. IT'S FREE.THAT'S THEIR JOB.RIGHT BEFORE YOU GET ON THE AIRPLANE. YOU WILL BE INTRODUCED TO THAT PERSON(THE ESCORT).THEY WILL SHOW YOU WHERE YOU SEAT IS AND THEN YOU HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL EVEYONE GETS OF THE PLANE BECAUSE THEY HAVE ANOTHER JOB TO DO. ONCE EVERYONE IS OFF. THEY WILL COME GET YOU./OR YOU GO UP TO THEM.AND THEN YOU WILL BE ESCORTED TO WHERE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO GO..HAHAHA YOUR DAD DOESN'T NOT KNOW WHAT H IS TALKING ABOUT. DONT; BE SCARED...I LOVED THE ATTENTION. THEY EVEN GIVE YOU GIFTS WHEN YOU ARE A MINOR ON THE PLANE. THAT'S WHAT I USED TO LIKE EVERTIME I FLEW OVER SEAS AND THE PEOPLE WERE SO NICE!!!
GOOD LUCK OK!

15 is the acceptable age I believe! The best way to find out is to call the airline 800 and ask them what age it is. We put a 14 yr old on unnacompanied, when he asked at the check in she fibbed a little and said she was 15 cause you don't have to show ID if your under the age of 18. This is the advice I got when I called to find out. So you should be good.
Leaves alot of room for terrorists age 15-18 though don't cha think.

If you're mature enough, you can fly alone. When I was 15, I took a trip from Texas to New York City by myself, and it all went fine.

Listen to your father, but keep on contact with him!
Tell him, you'd like to fly alone, afterall.
Now let me ask you something- first of all, does this advice help?
Second, does it seem strange that a stranger would give the above advice?

You can go to the airport and check in but must have your parents. But you can walk to the gate and all that stuff by yourself. But what airport you goin to? In dallas you only ave to be like 11 or 12 to walk by yourself. You can fly by yourself and i think you can go by yourself.

Well, if you flap your arms hard enough, i'm sure you'll be able to get off the ground. Just don't try to fly from high places.
