I was curious.. if I have a child and one day decide to pimp it out due to their amazing bloodline (joking) and then decide to pimp out those grandkids, its illegal... But if I breed my dog and then breed its puppies and so on... its legal. HOW IS THIS RIGHT!?!?!?

i'll leave the breeding to the dog- breeders.
personally, i don't believe in double standards (like you mentioned). i will spay my dogs for health reasons, and the possibilties of unwanted puppies.
to me, my dogs are like my children. when you've decided to adopt them, it's a lifetime committment.
some pet owners may consider breeding dogs as a leisure profitable business, and that's why we have millions of stray cats & dogs. they are the same people who consider dogs merely as 'animals', whom they can 'manipulated'.
it's a pets' rights moral issue, and often slighted.
i just hope that all animals may not have to suffer from hunger & thirst, and have a condusive environment to live in. but we all know the cycle of life, it's a dog-eat-dog in the wild.
i cannot help all animals, but when i adopt a cat, hamster, rabbit or dog, i'll make sure they have shelter, food & water. also, i will not breed them, as there are possibilities that the newborns may have bad owners, and the whole vicious cycle will continue.

The purpose of pimping dogs is to breed more dogs. Technically it is not illegal for you to pimp out your kids, but they have to be consenting adults and with dogs they have to be sexually mature.
You can sell eggs and sperm on the Internet or walk into a sperm bank and request certain traits from the donor.
People do not pimp out dogs with sexually pleasure in mind; that is taking the pet love a little too far but personally I think when a poodle has a rain jacket that's already crossing the line.
If your kids where pro athletes then I'm sure they could get top dollar for their seed.

Because you don't pimp out people to 'breed'. At least not in our culture. Animals on the other hand are a different story especially pure breds
