My mom has hanging onm our wall above the computer saying "God answers all prayers; Sometimes He says yes; Sometimes He says no; Sometimes He says You've got to be kidding" It all depends on how you are praying. If you pray for His Will to be done, then He will definietely answer you. However, He does it on His time, not yours. Don't always expect an answer right away.

This is what I would do, go to a non-denominational church. (I say non-denomantional because they generally don't have traditions that will cause you to stumble in your walk with God).

Depending on your age: Go to a Youth Pastor. If you're not a youth, go to a Maturity Pastor if they have one. If not, go to the Senior Pastor. They can guide you in how to pray.

Don't give up! Garth Brooks once sang "I thank God for unanswered prayers". We are humans and we don't know what's best for ourselves. We might think we do, but we don't. God knows what's best. He can see things in the future that we can't see. God knows what is best for you and for me. Just have some faith that He knows what He's doing. It will all work out in the end. You will look back and see how God's Will lines up everything exactly into place.

I will be praying for you.

Yes, Maybe God doesn't think that you are sincere when you pray.
Try kneeling down and be ready to accept God's answer regardless whether it is Yes or No or Not Now.
Then Trust God to do what is best for you and not what you want Him to do.
God is not a Jeanie in a bottle at your beck and call. God does not have to obey you. In God's love and mercy He will help you when you ask for something good and God will never help you Sin.

Try praying again, With more humility and more obedience.
By the way if you are involved in some type of sin, you better work on that first.

God Bless You, ;-)

I can answer the question about God existing, but I think you know the answer to that one and are asking that question rhetorically.

God didn't make you into a robot so you should also not expect God to be a robot. His answers to prayer are according to His timing, His will, and His love for you. Sometimes we don't even know what's best for us. But God always does.

God has some encouragement for you from the Bible:

Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desire of your heart (Psalms 37:4).

This is love: Not that we loved God but that He loved us, and sent His Son as sacrifice for our sins (1 John 4:10).

God bless you.

Can't really say. Its possible. I have had some pretty shitty times in my life, that make me so angry and pissed off I curse him, not to offend anyone. I have prayed also through out my life, I used to go to church with my family, but refuse to go anymore. He has never answered me either, just let me down. My previous girlfriend I was w/ for 3 years was put into a comma after a car accident. I cried and prayed at her side for days, and she just let go. I can't express my anger, except to say that I punched a brick wall so many times that i fractured 3 fingers on my left hand and broke my index on my right, and broke my knuckle on my middle, very painful, but I was so mad when I did it, I didn't feel a thing. So really to the point, actually NO i don't think he exists. Sorry

First, are you a christian? If you are then you know that God does not hear the prayers of sinners. I was going through the same thing, but I learned that even though Im saved, I am still a sinner.I must confess my daily sin to God. There is a "formal" way to pray, and get Gods attention.
Confess-tell him about your day and wat sins you commited and ask for victory over them
Petition-this is where to would ask for something
Praise-God deserves praise all the time
You also must be in obediance to His Word. Read the bible and live the way He wants you to. Need to talk please email me.
Fasting and late night prayer, will also get His attention.

No
I guess it's like asking if Santa Claus, Easter bunny exists. They do exist as a creation of humans, same as God.
There is not a real proof of this divine creature. People say there is a bible and I say the bible is the most old fiction book known after Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings =)

No, you are doing nothing wrong (as far as I know). If I've learned something from life, i've learned this: If someone doesn't respond to you it's because A, they don't exist B, they are hard of hearing C, they're stuck up, or D, they're too preoccupied with what's going on to acknowledge your exist.

B and D are out of the question for 'God' so figure it out: Either god's some dive jerk who teases his mortal underlings or that he simply does not exist.

Yes God does exist, it depends, what are you asking for? You need to pray in accord with his will Matthew 6:9 - 34 tells us what God requires in regard to prayer.

He DOES listen to prayers if they are rightly motivated. It depends on what you are asking His help for. If it is something noble and right, He will help you. So you need to finish your prayer THANKING Him for any and all help He will give you, believing that He will. If you are asking His help for something ignoble or evil, He will not answer affirmatively. Also, if you are using Him as a convenient 'bellhop in the sky' just to get things you want, and then you plan to ignore Him after that - you might be waiting a long time for an answer.

When you pray, realize you are praying to a Holy God. He will answer you, but give Him the time to do it, and He may not answer in a typical way that you would expect either. The Scriptures say that "His ways are not our ways, His ways are higher than our ways." Know that He is hearing you, and He will answer, be patient and wait for Him.
