If by "cut out" you mean removed before they broke through the gum line. I had that done at the age of 14. My case they were growing sideways (toward the front of my mouth) causing a problem with impacted teeth. What do you want to know about this process?? is it painful? It can be. What does it feel like? You never really know, the doctor will more than likely knock you out. Will you bleed after wards? Yes, you just had four teeth removed, blood is bound to happen. Will you get dry socket afterward? More than likely, I haven't known a person yet that didn't, even though the doctor will tell you it only happens occasionally. Your cheeks will swell for a few days, that will go away, you will have to eat soft foods, for how long depends on your personal progress, I was eating normal by the third day. Is it worth it? In my case Yes, because the alternative was bound to be more painful and destructive.

Out of the possible 4, only 3 of mine ever showed up. Mine were all cut out as they were sideways in my jaw. I looked like a chipmunk with stuffed cheeks for a few days, had a some pain, minimal bleeding, and then it was all over. I was placed under anesthesia and so was asleep during the procedure. I was okay in about a week. My son has his surgically removed, but the Army did his and there was small amount of infection that set in, so his healing time was around 2 weeks. However, he was asleep during his procedure also.

I had my lower ones cut out and I'm going again in a few months to get the top ones cut out as well.
It's not bad at all. The knockout drugs are fine, and if you've never been put out before, it's like going to sleep and then waking up. I was still very drowsy that day, but they never hurt. They also give you perscription medication afterwards to help keep pain away. It'll be over quick and simple.

Mine were growing in sideways on the bottom. The top two have still not come down and I am 53 years old!. I had it done in the hospital as they were 1/2 deep. I was sick for 5 days because my upper molars kept pulling on the stitches. They had to break them up in peices and pull them out.

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed at the same time and it hurt worse than a broken leg. If you're gonna get them removed, make sure they knock you out. I made the mistake of being put under but not knocked out. Also make sure to ask about dry sockets, it hurts worse than a knive being stuck in your brain.

I had all four of mine cut out at once. I had general anesthesia, so I slept through it. I was sore for a few days afterwards, and it hurt to open my mouth, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

I under went Wisdom tooth extraction. I was on laughing gas, I could feel everything mildly through the novacaine. the dentist had to chisel two of my teeth into little pieces to get them out.
good luck, and no straws.

My top two were pulled; the bottom two cut. It's not so bad; they give you good drugs! I had them all done on the same day.
