I am looking for something affordable, probably used since I can't afford a new minivan. I want one that fits at least 7 ppl comfortably, and has lots of storage space/room.

Two answers:

1. New van: The best 2 are toyota and honda $30,000+

2. Used: Good question. With used it depends, almost completely, on how it was taken care of. Ask friends, look in the yellow pages, go to Good Year(they will definately find EVERYTHING wrong with the car,BUT don't have them fix it. They will charge you something ?. Whatever it cost it will be worth it. Just make sure you are weally interested in this vehicle. the price, color size etc. no reason to spend money to inspect it if you're not really interested in buying it. It if has problems then you decide if you want it, try to get the price down or walk away.

an older Honda Odysseyl like a 1995(will cost about $7000)....nice and roomy, reliable, and the first minivan with a fold down 3rd row seat, but if your looking for a little safer van for more money go with a toypta sieena.........dont buy a chrysler or plymouth though, they are very unreliable

i work at a carwash and i drive a lot of vans.

you may want to look into a windstar. the older windstars are more boxy and long so they have a bit more space.. or a sierra.

those two have enough seats and they have space.

Any 1996 and newer caravan, or chrysler van. As long as you don't get the one with the 3.0L v-6. Those motors don't last at all. I know, My wife bought one, and had many problems with it.

I like the Dodge Caravan. My father in law has had for almost ten years and it has been very reliable. An you can get really good prices in them.
