Mrs H assures me the epidural hurts the most.
From a first-hand point-of-view, a spinal tap (lumbar puncture) is even worse because it's the same pain as an epidural except the needle stays in for 20 mins and they tilt the table you lie on with the needle still in.
Getting blood taken and getting shots may hurt initially but it soon goes away.

I have had all of these. Getting a shot hurts the most for me. I've had my tongue pierced twice. The first time, it hurt, no doubt, but then I took it out and it closed up, went back to get it pierced again and they had to go thru scar tissue. That HURT. But again, shots in my arm hurt the most. Epidurals, had two, I didn't feel a thing. Both times they told me that I would feel a slilght burning sensation in my back, but, I didn't feel a thing. Tatoos aren't that bad. You think that it hurts for a long time, but you sort of get numb. Getting my blood taken is nothing. Most of the time, I never feel anything besides a small pinch.

I've done all but A. Getting a tatoo is not as painful as it may seem. Getting blood taken is not painful...just a quick prick. By the time you get an epidural you're in so much pain already, you don't care how it feels to get the epidural...you just WANT it! And getting a shot is like giving blood...just a prick. Guess I better go get my tongue pierced...

Epidural is more of a shocking sensation when the needle is inserted. After that the numbing medication takes affect and you feel very little. A shot might hurt worse if it's an antibiotic or pain medication which usually burn like fire going in.

Tongue Pierced... It has to go through muscle.
The blood taken, the epidural, and the getting a shot are equivalent.
The tatoo is just a lot of stinging repeatedly.

I have a tattoo. It's a heart with symbol on the inside. About 2 inches diameter. Black outline red filling.
This is what it felt like:
Outline: Having a safety pin slowly dragged across your skin.
Filling: Having 30 safety pins slowly dragged across your skin.
The whole thing took 20 minutes, and I wanted to punch Eddie in the face when he was done.
Shots and blood don't hurt me, they are just small pricks.

I have experienced A,B,C, and E. I haven't ever had to experience D. though I've had 4 children. I've heard epidurals are excruciating. None of the other choices hurt as bad as I imagine an epidural would from what I've heard.

I HAD ALL 5 OF THEM AND AN EPIDURA IS THE WORST FOR ME.
TONGUE PIERCING ONLY LASTED A SEC.
TATTOO WAS JUST ANNOYING AND ITCHY.
BLOOD WORK IS NOT THAT BAD.
THE SHOT WAS ONLY A SEC.
BUT THAT DAMN EPIDURAL HURT LIKE HELL. IT TOOK TOO LONG AND IT WAS A SHARP, STINGING PAIN AND YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. AFTER THAT, I HAD BACK PAIN IN THAT AREA FOR 5 MONTHS.
