Any of these colors could be fantastic in large spaces. If the rooms are small they will close them in even more. Also, with colors that dark you need to make sure the accent furniture is light, as well as the ceiling. If not furniture then large pieces of art work. Another point to consider is the tight of paint you use. For the brown, blue, and green they would look nice in a velvet texture. (yes, velvet gives a nice dimension to the paint.) For the orange, you might want to try going over it with a glazing of gold. Or try some faux painting techniques with gold to give the paint some depth and a bright shining characteristic.

dont care for the burnt orange with the other colors. also do not like the dark grass green on the walls- i tried that color in my kitchen because my husband came home with the wrong color. then we had to paint over it!
i prefer lighter colors for the walls, but the chocolate could work with the right accessories, maybe with green or pink. if i were looking to buy a house that had those on the wall, i would think they were hiding something. but, to each his own.

Different Paint companies use similar names for totally different colours.....so the names you used are irrelevant.

Do you care if I like those colors?
They're not for me, but if you like them, then they're just fine. It's your home, do it how you're happy!
