First thing I'd check is the wiring from the body to the door. After lots of opening and closing flexes, the wires may have broken (I assume they're in a little accordian tube) and are rubbing together and shorting.

Otherwise, the other posters are right. Unless you can find and read a shop manual and find the short yourself (if you have to ask here, you probably can't) get a pro to fix it reliably. You're going to have to do it eventually if you ever sell it.

Meanwhile, you can get exercise walking to the counter instead of going thru drive-thru! B-}

There are many questions that come to my mind before I can diagnose your problem...like??? Do your windows work well? Do they drag at all? Do they all work when the power is applied? One solution could be have the contacts on your window switch cleaned or replaced. Take them off and spray WD40 on them. Sometimes that helps. Another thing is try a larger fuse. My guess is your blowing a 7.5 amp ar a 15. put in a 20 amp to your windows.
As far as the instrument pannel it could be the "interior" fuse all together. do your guages work? does the car track milage and rpm's etc? If so it is a fuse. If it keeps happening go to your local "old school" stereo shop and let them look at it. I was an installer for years and this is a common problem on cars like yours ...good luck

Something is shorted in the wiring or going bad, like a window motor. Depends on what all is in the circuit and when it blows the fuse.
