When i dye my hair blonde it comes out red. How do I make it stop?

green cancels out red tones. if you keep bleaching it up to anything higher than a red, you could end up with rubbery hair that will break and fall off every time you wash and comb through. let a pro do this for you. it's worth the small investment, especially if you're talking bleach and chemicals. there are a couple of things that you can do, but you're risking losing your hair if done by an untrained eye.

Okay, you should see a professional about it because first you would have to bleach it (to strip the color) then you would have to put pigment back in it, then dye it again. It's a three step process if done correctly, then turns out fabulous. I had to do this back in December so my hair could return to it's natural lightness.

Bleach it. However you will need to have a qualified beautican do it the first time and then you can handle the root issue with streaking.

make sure you do test strands first. most likly you will have to strip the color or bleach it which is going to be really hard on your hair and cause a lot of damage.

Use a toner to remove the red (copper) tones and go for it!!!

keep the dye on your hair alittle bit longer than it says to!!!!! i hav dark hair and when itied to dye it blonde it came out red then about 3 months later i try to dye it again and left it on there for about 20 minutes longer than it said to and now my hair is blonde but when my hair grows out it's not a dark brown but a meduim brown and i put blonde dye in it and then brown and berrgandie highlights in it and every one loves it alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! try it and e-mail me and tell me how it does and what every one thinks of your hair like do they say it's ugly pretty or what and i will give you some more tips if you need any more help on hair

u probably have bad water..that used to happen to my sister untill we got better water and then it got better!
go to a salon to get it done!
