Nobody likes to be watched while eating.

Your asking do they like to be watched while eating? Eating time should be a time when dogs can relax a bit. If your hovering over them, then I'm going to say not likely. The reason why is because they may start getting the sense that they need to protect their food because of feeling your intent watching might be to take that food. If you want to watch and your let's say at the kitchen table and they are away from you while eating, then I see no harm in it. And this is not just for Pits, it's for all dogs. Let them have their down time, they'll really appreciate it.

Mine is sneaky. She waits until I walk away and then she picks up her dish and takes it somewhere else to eat. As far as being watched, it doesn't affect her one way or the other, until I bust her walking away with her dish then i get the "puppy dog" eyes and she just stops and wags her tail and eats her food in that spot!

My dogs don't really care. I raised them knowing that people can put their hands in their food and remove their food from them at any time. So I suppose this depends on how the dog has been raised and also whether or not it is fed regularly.
In essence... The same as any other dog.

I dont think any dog likes to be watched. I have a chihuahua who doesnt eat until someone leaves out of the room...Do, you like to be watched?

I agree, nobody does. As a matter of fact the next person who stands over me and watch me eats, I will bite the hell out of em!! Do you see my teeth?!?
