You can't be serious...right?
Okay,
well here it goes.
Our bodies are complex organisms, we have trillions of
cells, organs and organ systems. Think of it like a motor
a car needs gas to go right? The radiator needs fluid
right? well like a car we need alot of different kinds
of fuel. Food is our main source of fuel besides sleep.
Our organs and cells require certain fuels to function
if they do not get these fuels they start to die, and
disease is not far behind. Eat food has certian
nutrients (fuels) that our bodies require
such as carbohydrates-for energy , although
their main source is to glycosilate our cells so
they can communicate with eachother.
Protiens -which are of PRIMARY importance,
which give our body building blocks for other
cells that it must replace on a day to day basis,
protiens also build and replenish muscle tissue
and effect every system we have.
Vitamins and minerals come from food and
these are ESSENTIAL just as much as carbs
and protiens, each one does certain things
for our cells.
And believe it or not FAT is an ESSENTIAL
Nutrient as well, it helps manufacture hormones
it protects our cells, and also gives us energy.
There are more nutrients than these but
i dont want to make your head explode.

You body is constantly burning energy just to maintain it self. We get that fuel from the foods we eat. If you stop eating then your body will start burning the stored energy, fat cells, when it is depleted it moves on to protean, the muscles. Basically if you do not eat, your body will begin to feed on it's self to maintain basic functions, when this no longer is an option your body will simply shut down because it can no longer maintain it self with the amount of fuel that is left. You die.

we need to eat beacuse in food there are these things called nuetrients which is what our bodies absorb, to avoid using all kinds of big scientific words and going into textbook definitions and stuff i will just make this simple: you eat, it gives you energy, you dont feel tired or lazy quite as much, and you become more active and you feel more awake.

if you diddnt eat, the cells in your body would not have enough material to produce ATP - which powers literally everything in each and every cell in your body.
your body will eventually start eating itself in order to get these materials

We're heterophiles, meaning we cannot generate our own energy from within (we're not photosynthetic).
