My best source for delicious (and cheap) eats is Catherine Jheon, a food critic, from CBC Toronto. She has a show called "Beyond Burgers". I am including the link for you. Browse and see what suits your palate and price range.

Although this restaurant is not listed by Catherine, my husband and I really enjoyed Dhaba on King St (Theatre district). It is a bit pricey (Around $100 for two, drinks and tip included) but worth every penny. This is Indian food that takes you to another level - try the lamb tikka masala and get a hotel room downtown!

Their funky website can be found at http://www.dhaba.ca/

My hubby is a big fan of KAMA on the other side of King Street, opposite Roy Thompson Hall. For $9.95 he was given a box and told to cram as much food as he wanted from the buffet. He took it back to his hotel and watched the baseball. Apparently a man needs nothing else to keep him happy.

Yes, there are many different types of restaurants in Toronto - from super fancy and pricey to greasy spoons and cheap. Toronto is the most multicultural city in Canada, so your taste buds will be happy! Check out the link below for many different ideas...
Toronto is a very large city as well, so I can't name any restaurants in particular as not sure what part of town you're in or will be in...

ummmm, where abouts in Toronto? It's a pretty big city! I'd suggest any of the upscale bistros on King St. close to Spadina and the Rogers Centre. Just start on the south side, by MEC and walk towards Yonge.
