I was renting a country cottage, got up one morning to have a coffee, I thought I had spilt some coffee granules onto the kitchen work surface, I wet my finger and stuck it into the granules to have a taste! They were field mouse droppings.
Not to be recommended!!

Beetle grub tacos. The sauce was delicious, but the grubs were sickening. Their heads were as crunchy as gravel and their abdomens were leathery on the outside and nauseatingly watery on the inside.

crickets but they don't taste bad. Obvious they were death.. not jumping!!!! I think the worse thing must be eating something that is still alive.. I have seen in youtube, a whole family eating live squids in some restaurant.

Raw oysters. Slimy, fishy, cold, rubbery, and too big to swallow whole easily, and trust me, you don't want to bite down and chew on it, it's even worse.
