Like one person said, Apply mayo and cover with plastic or a swimmers cap. The only thing I will add is once the time is up, rinse hair out completly then apply only conditioner (no shampoo) and comb with the lice combs. The mayo suffocates the lice and the conditioner allows them to come off the hair easier. Just make sure the mayo doesn't get into her eyes, when it starts getting warm it turns into an oil. Good luck, I know lice can be time consuming and stressful.

this is a tricky and messy solution, and takes time but works.
get a jar of mayo and just put it every where in her hair, then tie a plastic bag around her hair, put in one of her favorite movies, and have her sit, after about an hour and half, wash it out. since she is so little it might be easier to have her asleep for this, but you have to pick everything out of her head.
wash EVERYTHING.
and then repeat in 2 weeks.
and when picking it out, it also helps to use a lice comb.
the mayo sufficates the lice. it is also very good for your hair and wont harm your baby.

Italian dressing and a towel. Soak her hair in the Italian dressing for about an hour, then comb it out with one of those lice combs.

yikes, i sympathize with you, lice is no fun to deal with, i have no suggestions about treating you daughters scalp, but i do know that you have to take pretty much everything in your house, clothes, cushion covers, sheets etc... put them in a black garbage bag and leave them in the sun for at least 24 hours and then wash them thoroughly to get rid of the eggs, you could consult a physician to see if they have any alternate methods of washing them out of her hair, good luck!!

I believe you can use it, just talk to your doctor about it, to see how often you can use it. Also there is a special comb.
