I am a beautician, and I can tell you that the best way to straighten hair is with a solution called sodium hydroxide. Sodium hydroxide should only be applied by a LICENSED COSMETOLOGIST as it is very toxic and if not applied properly can burn your head and cause you to lose your hair.
However, when done properly by a licensed cosmetologist, your hair will be straight, and I'm sure you will be very happy

I have natualyly curly hair. And trust me, if your hair is really curly, a straightener wont help. I wash my hair, and then i brush through it and the i blow dry it, but when im doing that, i take the brush, and brush peices at at time, and hold the brush at the end of the strand and then take the blow dryer and blow dry it, do that with every strand, and when ur done and if ur hair is staticky, put gel in it

What u do is put some gel on the tips of ur hair,and then u brush it and Voila u got straight hair!Try to find some gel at target.

You use a GOOD straightener, like a ceramic or porcelain one.. Sally's Beauty Supplies have them but they are very expensive but work very well!! About $75!!
