Elvis Aaron Presley died in 1977. He was born and lived at a time when most people in his land were illiterate. Sound familiar? We have many first hand reports about Elvis' life. We have many reliable records: Medical, Musical and otherwise. Even so, there are people, LOTS of people, who insist that Elvis is not really dead. Sound familiar? Even the dozen's of books written by people who knew Elvis contain conflicting stories of his life. Sound familiar? In "Fit for a King", an important work delving into the Elvis eating habits, the author suggests that in order to make Elvis' beloved fried chicken you'll need 3/4ths a cup of flour, salt, paprika and pepper. In "Are you Hungry Tonight", a definitive look into Elvis' favorite foods, the king's beloved fried chicken recipe calls for 1/2 cup of flower, salt and pepper. Glairing differences! A quarter less flour and no paprika! WHAT HERATICS!
Now imagine trying to figure the true Elvis Chicken, two thousand years from now.
