Besides staying out of the sun or using sunblock. It's a little late for that advice.

For the first few days or as long as it remains warmer than your other skin, do not put anything with oil on it. Aloe gel is good if you have it. If that is what you use, keep it in the fridge. It is kind of shocking when you put it on, but it will take some of the heat out of the burn. Make sure and rinse it off about once an hour and reapply...If you are looking for something you have in your home, but have nothing made for a sunburn. Try boiling some tea and letting it cool to at least room temperature. (MAKE SURE YOU LET IT COOL!) You can then spray or apply with a saturated cloth. This even helps if you use it before the aloe gel. Something about the acid in the tea. Drink lots of water. A sunburn can also dehydrate your body!!!

Try paper bags soaked in vinegar. Lay the bags on the burnt area. This will draw the heat out, then apply aloe vera. Only wear white colored clothing next to skin, till the sunburn is better.

ok here is 2 REALLY GOOD ideas! i jsut got over a real bad sunburn so trust me. this will help. soak in a tub full of vinegar!!! it takes the sting and burn out! then use noxzema. it will help keep it moist and turn it into a tan isted of peeling. also be sure to use cool water. good luck hun and i hope this helps ya!!!

I have heard people use Preparation H, but I don't have a problem with sunburn so I do not know how well it works.

I don't mean to be a critic, I have had many sunburns. but it is to dangerous anymore to get burnt. Please start wearing sunblock, and reapply as directed. Hope you feel better soon.

Aloe Vera straight from the plant or try vinegar....pat on, you will smell like fries lol but it sooths the pain

Noxema!...Just dab on your skin & leave it on for about 10 minutes...Pain & Itching will be gone!!!

( If You don't have any handy...Try pink Pepto-Bismol! Seriously! It takes the sting out very quickly! )

the sun burn gel, buy put it in the fridge. atleast twice a day take it out of the fridge and put it on your burn. it feels great.
