I just got my hair permed today I got the new textured fusion perm (Not extensions). It has been about 15 years ago that I had a perm. I know that I can't wash it with shampoo but could someone please help me and let me know if I can just get it wet? I spent ALOT of money on this perm and I really like it and I don't want to do anything that will ruin it. THANK YOU EVERYONE

No! It will de-activiate the chemicals used to perm it and you will have wasted a lot of money on a really nice hair style. You need to wait I think 2 days.

i got a perm and u cant get your hair wet till 2 days after.

you should wait 48 hours, i have my hair permed and they say to wait at least 48 hours before you can get it wet or tie it up

you will not get lice, from tying it up moist, i've got been doing it for years. it fairly is a little greater good on the hair itself yet once you get the ends trimmed commonly this could not be a topic component notice: in case you have a reason to concern lice, oil your hair gently which will shop the lice from having the flexibility to stick to the hair.
