I'm 5'10 and a size 10, and I'd like to be a size 7 by the time college starts in a month. I know how I could lose weight, but I'm a pear shape and I'm more concerned with the size of my jeans than what I weigh. So, how do you get smaller in the hips and thighs?

From a size 10 to a size 7 is about a 5kg weight loss.

All you need to do is to aim for a weight loss of 5kg and if you are concerned with the shape of your hips, you can try doing:
crunches, lunges and can try going inline skating.

Inline skating shapes up one's figure really well!

Go to the gym a few times a week and start working out and go on the special K died, but remember there is such a thing as being too thin.

grab one of your friends and have them start running with you in the mornings and in the evenings. and make sure to eat right... no more pizza, lasanga, or anything with alot of fat in it. you will see a big difference in 6 weeks.

if you really want to push it and you require something even tougher (or none of your friends want to help you) then take karate lessons. i was 205 pounds when i was 13 years old. alot! then my dad took me to karate classes... after 6 weeks i lost about 20 pounds. but it was intense training and i was sweating like crazy. try it and good luck.
