Do you see more and more people doing errands on foot or by bicycle?

It would be due to the high price of gas which is now in the $3-$4 a gallon range for regular unleaded! I have done a lot more errands walking myself.

A friend of mine has started using his bicycle for more transportation. He lives in the city, and he has an old Buick that doesn't get very many miles to the gallon. I don't own a car, so a bicycle and public transportation are all the options I've got.
