Don't worry about anything, try to be thankful and to enjoy every little good thing you have in your life. Do the best you can to change the things you don't like but if it is out of your hands, just let it be. Try to make a few good friends and be a good friend to them too. Be understanding, and everything around you will look nice to you.

Do not keep thinking about your mistakes, and don't look back.
Replay your happy moments or moments of achievements in your head whenever u need some motivation.
Whenever something unpleasant happens, think about how much worse it could be. In the end, u will realise that whatever u are facing is a far cry from, perhaps a starving child in rural Somalia.

1) Be grateful for what you have, and don't focus on what you don't have.
2) Think about doing something for others (without expecting a reward). Think of yourself and your own pleasure less.
3) Live in today. Don't get caught up in regretting the past, or manipulating the future.
4) Don't chase after happiness. Forget about it, and it will come to you.

To be mostly happy, you need to 'relax the rules'.
Most people have very strict definations about what makes them happy.
Someone once told me that if EVERYONE LIKED HIS PROPOSA:L, he would be happy.
But in real life, EVERYONE liking his proposal would be impossible... therefore, he is never happy.
Definations of things that make you happy should thus be:
- simple to achieve (achievable everyday)
- within your own control and not controled by other people
Eg, My defination of happiness is having meals with my family, breathing, dancing to music everyday.
And thus, I am mostly happy. :) Hee...

there might be 2 forms of happiness:
1.short term happiness through quick satisfaction. we all know that sort of thing. all things done out of addictive behaviour...drinking alot, eating a lot, having sex, shopping attacks, smoking and so on...
2. long term happiness which develops by being true to your HEARTS desires and wishes. by that we grow into our individual power. the only source of self confidence, the basis of being mostly or maybe always happy : ))
but it takes lots of courage, willpower and devotion to choose the second path...i´m still exercising ;)

You have to look within yourself. You can not be happy with anything or anyone unless you are happy withyourself. Find your innerself..who you are, what you stand for .....ect......and everything will fall in place with time

it is hard to even define what is happiness. what ever makes you happy and move to your own kind of music is happiness. i am sorry, but it is not a real answer. it is in your heart and deep in your soul
