They say Death Comes in Three's, and "they" couldn't be more right. The Grim Reaper has a grisly history of taking the lives of three when he comes.
I found this on the internet and I kinda believe that it is true. When my uncle died it wasn't long till his wife (my aunt) died then another uncle. My husband died and on his birthday my best friend was killed in a car accident then her brother died shortly after that. It seems to run true but you never know who will be next.

I've heard that saying too, but I've always kinda wondered "well, which 3?". I mean, without meaning to be too cruel about it, deaths are always happening so how do you decide where you're going to start counting and which 3 are you going to pick? And on a related note, how close (the old degrees of separation thing) does a death have to be before it counts? Your grandmother would be 0 degrees of separation, your boyfriend's (1) best friend's (2) grandma would be 3. Your boyfriend's (1) best friend's (2) girlfriend's (3) grandma would be 4. And so on. Where human beings and human feelings are concerned, it may be easy to make connections where maybe there aren't any, BUT...that is a LOGIC statement. It doesn't mean you shouldn't care or shouldn't feel, God only knows there's too little of that in the world right now. Pray for your boyfriend's grandma and send her your Love and Best Wishes.

Yes. I am not sure why,but it has been like that all my life. I am 44...once one person dies we (as in the family) all know there will be 2 more before the year is up but most of the time it happens real soon.
I could write a book on that saying.
Coincidence? I don't think so. Besides I don't personally believe in coincidences.
Part of life I guess.

Does have a tendency to go in 3's. I work in a hospital and if 1 patient dies usually 2 more die pretty close to that time.

i've heard the saying "everything comes in threes" or "bad things come in threes"...don't really think its all that true though, mostly just coincidence but if you look hard enough you make it true. Its like if you look hard enough, you can find signs in everything or find the sign you want in something.

No but i have heard all bad things come in threes, the third thing being the worst i guess, maybe the third thing to happen doesn't always result in death. x

Wow. There's nothing to prove it as the fact, but I've heard that all my life. It usually seems to be that way, too. It's probably just coincidence, but it does strike me as quite odd.

That saying is highly coincidental. The chances are, if someone is in the hospital, they are not in perfect health.

That saying has been strangely accurate from my own experience (but I prefer not to go into it). I wouldn't say anything to your family!
