Yes you can but avoid sliding cookware across the stovetop as it will scratch the surface. Avoid soft aluminum and copper pots and pans as it can fuse onto the stovetop surface. Clean stovetop with soft abrasive as Bon Ami.

From what I'm told by friends ... yes, you can, but be careful not to scratch the surface of the range. I'm assuming it is a glass top range. And since cast iron is heavy, take care not to drop it or bang it against the surface because it could crack. And be sure to use a pot holder or oven mitt cuz as you know, cast iron handles get very hot !!

No! You will scratch your stove top. You cannot use cast iron on it. I urge you to read your instruction manual.

Yup, just be careful placing it on the stove and be patient - it takes a while to heat up.
