There is no difference. Don't drink the water after you put it in the battery.

Distilled water is distilled water. If it's not pure H2O, it's not distilled water. There may be a difference in purity between water intended for human consumption, versus water intended to be poured into an automotive battery.

None. It's just pure water. The reason you want distilled water for a battery is because tap water may have minerals in it that will shorten the life of the battery.

Both are just water boiled until it leaves the container in the form of gas and cools back down into water again with any impurities left in the original container. BUt drinking water would have less chances of being comtaminated while no special attention to batter water safety.
Distilled water for batteries may not be as clean and there fore not drinkable.

Distilled water is distilled water. You're not supposed to drink distilled water as it can strip minerals out of your body. If you're drinking bottled water labelled distilled, I sure hope it has had minerals, etc. added to it.
