Yeah. Stretch first, or you might get a cramp !!!- they hurt so please stretch, (point your toes toward you not away, so that your calf is stretching).

After taking your time stretching :

Stand up and lift your heels all the way off the ground, let them touch the ground lift up again, repeat till you feel like you've done enough. Prepare to have sore calves the next day or longer.
Works great it's going to melt that fat right off.

Don't do it 2 days in a row, as muscles need 24 hours break from hard exercise.

Stretching will make the muscles long and lean rather than the bunchy muscles you get from lifting weights, running, etc.
Search 'Yoga', then narrow it down.
But stretching will do the trick.

NO....only laying in bed for a month or two until the muscles shrink from non-use will do that (atrophy)....love your calfs!
