It certainly worked out that way for Halliburton and the rest of them. Is it just a coincidence that all these companies have been making massive profits since the war started in 2003. If that's the case, where is the incentive to got out of Iraq at all?

I don't know if that was Bush's prime reason for going into Iraq, but it has sure worked out well for Cheney's buddies hasn't it?

I think the main reason was ego.. Bush wanted to say he'd been in a war, just like daddy. And Sadaam insulted daddy, way back when. Bush was too chicken to fight in Viet Nam, like he should have.. so I think this was his way of trying to be a hero as his father. One thing, his name may be George Bush, but he is no George Bush Sr., by any means.

For a short while? you purchased any assure of that? guess no longer. there is no assure that any determination, at the instant below progression, will bare fruit, EVER. I hate to declare it, yet at the instant, the only option to ease the stress on individuals, all individuals, is to get entry to our very own oil, oil it particularly is already being accessed by using China, Argentina, Cuba and various of alternative different countries. Oil that we are no longer allowed to get entry to. As for the oil companies raping us, why do no longer you're saying an identical element or worse approximately YOUR democrat congress. For ever 8 cents that the oil companies makes...rapes us for... our government makes as much as 80 CENTS. And our government does honestly no longer something for that 80 cents. we've oil. we've a number of oil. We even have the wonderful nuclear technologies interior the international. yet we gained't use it. Why? because of boogie guy of 'international warming' and prefer a number of boogie men, it particularly is a delusion too. The Earth has been COOLING for the final ten years. end ingesting the koolade and start up questioning!!

And I guess you think Bush owns Halliburton? Get the facts straight. KBR provides a service that not many companies in the world are equipped to handle. The other closest competitor to provide this level of service in this quantity is a French company. Would you prefer that we send our tax dollars to France to provide civilian support to our troops overseas?

Have you bothered to think about all the 24 million people that were taken out of the bondage Saddam placed them in. The secret police killing and raping innocent people and hoarding of all the money from the oil by Saddam. The average person in Iraq may have many things to worry about but one that is no longer a worry is Saddam. Small minds focus on narrow events. Sorry for your blindness to reality.

I think that probably was one of their main reasons to go to war and tricked us all into thinking it was the best thing to do by making us scared that Iraq was going to bomb us. I think it would be interesting to find out whether those people who sit around just getting rich from it all would actually of been keen to go to war if they had to be there themselves and fight with the rest of the army. So many people have died from it and just think it's disrespectful how their making a profit out of it when other people are loosing their loved ones.

Good question! war for oil and profit is at the forefront of the agenda in the middle east, but there is also the added perk of controling people through fear of the unkown and maufacturing consent of millions of people who are manipulated into believing that liberating the middle east from warlords and terrorists is the priority. that way they can pretty much do whatever they want and we silly ill informend americans just say "uh,okay".

Check your facts, Halliburton has been awarded contracts under other administrations including Clinton. It is because of the type of work they do, much of which very few companies do. Check facts before shooting off your mouth.

Halliburton has been involved in US military efforts since before Iraq....If you did some research instead of spouting out the liberal quote of the day...or week..or whatever, you would probably know that.

So you are another loser who is too stupid to even look up Haliburton's stock reports.

Hint: Haliburton _lost_ money on the first year of their Iraq contract.

But you will never let facts interfere with your political opinions - right?
