Be honest and upfront, if he is a real man and truly cares about you and the relationship he will understand.

Well, obviously he must be a lousy kisser! My husband and I will be celebrating our one year anniversary in October, and when he kisses me I still get weak in the knees! As a matter of fact, if he hadn't had the courage to kiss me on our first real night hanging out together on my couch, we never would have gotten together!

Either help him to become a better kisser by showing him what you like, or move on. While kissing is just a small part of the relationship it still help to keep that connection open between you!
