Right. You are absolutely right. You know nothing about the Hebrew Scripture, but you probably listen to some self styled preacher tell you what to believe. IF you were a child of Abraham, then you would do what Abraham did, which first of all was to destroy all his family Idolatrous images...do you consider this, that Jesus is a new testament replication of pagan Idol Attis, replete as savior, born of a virgin, had disciples, was killed, and supposedly raised from the dead and ascended into heaven. Christianity simply borrowed this pagan idol and applied all the supposed virtues to their new savior god man, Jesus. Congratulations, you are now no longer a child of Abraham, and are free to adopt pagan religion cult practices, such as drinking human blood, eating human flesh and worshiping a man, all of which the GOD of Abraham declared as abominations. SO, lets examine this....you claim to know Jesus, a person that left absolutely no physical evidence of having any existance, nor is there any evidence for the rest of the NT characters. You might just as well claim to have a love for Superman, like Lois does,,,or Peter Pan, like Wendy does,,,but then maybe you dont know Jesus any more than anyone else does,,,all have this illusion of a hope for a relationship with an imaginary companion...just a somewhat more supposedly elevated idea of what you would like in a perfect man savior god....who unlike the GOD of Israel doesnt exist. Now I suggest, read the TORAH and some of the Psalms,,,and get to know the Real GOD of the Hebrews...who is AWESOME, but not a man. WHO IS OUR BANNER of LOVE. Dump the imaginary Jesus and get with the truth. Shalom. SIncerely.

Jesus=the Bible (the Word)
John 1:1
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God"
If you study the scripture even more, you'll learn that Jesus is also called the Word of God, which is the same as the Bible.
So, you see, you can't not know the Bible, and know Jesus. Everything in the Bible is inspired by Jesus. He and His Word are one.

How can you truly know Jesus without the Word?
John 1:1,14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God and the Word was with God...and the Word became flesh."
If you do not back up Scripture with who Jesus is, or claims to be, then how can you be sure its Him? The Bible does say to test the spirits (1 John 4:1-3)
God does not go against Scripture and His written Word.
This is why Jesus said "give us our daily bread." The Word feeds us.

Do as Abraham?
You don't know abraham.
If you haven't read the bible, then for all you know, he cornholed goats, and was willing to slit his own son's throat. Wanna be a child of abraham, goat-boy?
Jesus also said, :I come not bearing peace, but a sword. I have come to set brother against brother and father against son.
Now what do you think about your bearded friend?
Better start reading the bible, if you really want to know this little fellow.

Sounds like the words of a true spoken cult.
You CAN'T know the Son, without knowing the TRUTH. The Holy Bible is TRUTH.
I see you didn't mention any religion or faith baesed belief along with your statement. Was there a reason for this?
You sound like a typical Mormon.
Having said that, I agree. You have not a clue what The Holy Bible says. Your right.
Have a nice week.

If you don't know the bible then where are those quotes from?
As far as I know, all the information about Jesus is contained in the Bible, if you have other information I would wonder that maybe you just made it up? After all, I'm not aware of any unauthorized biography on Jesus.

If you did as Abraham did you would live by God's principles, that would necessitate understanding God's word.
This is vital for being a follower of Jesus or you could be easily deceived.

am so grateful to God that you are my sister in Christ and we will be together in Heaven. But I would beg you to stay in the Word of God and learn the scriptures.
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
—John 8:31,32
If you don't know The Word of God, then how can you know the truth? Christians are not just battling evil in the world in the physical realm. We also battle other "principalities". We need the words of our Lord, inspired by His Holy Spirit, to battle these forces.
Ephes. 6:12
For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.
James, the brother of Jesus wrote in James 1:22
‘But be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.’
Psalm 119:105). You will stand ready for battle, charged and fortified by the Word of God.
If you do not know the Bible, the inspired Word of God, how can you do battle against those of spiritual and physical evil?
Psalm 119:11 “Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
EPHESIANS 6:13 "Put on the whole armour of God that you will be able to withstand the day of evil."
I pray that you will come to have a daily devotion reading the Word of God before you head out on your busy day. I ask that God give you strength that you need in your Christian life, your prayer life, and in your Bible study life.
God Bless You, Sister!

Jesus is the King and I don't question Jesus and His wanting of people to have the Holy Bible and be Christian.
Jesus Christ has His winnowing fan in His hand.
