You have a sprained ankle. Unlikely that you have a fracture if you could bear weight without pain from the very beginning. You need to keep it elevated and use ice and an ace wrap for another day until it is comfortable.

it will heal up in a few days. Take anti-inflammatory like aspirin or ibuprophen with food and it will reduct the inflammation and swelling and pain. Wear a high-top tennis shoe if you have one for support or wrap the foot and ankle with an ace bandage...not too tight. If it doesn't improve in a week or so, tell an adult you need a doctor.

Sounds like a sprain - ice it - if it swells, you will need to see a doctor.

you may have hyperextended a ligament, or even torn a tendon... go see a sports therapist... they work with those things more than other doctors and may be able to help you better
