Tell him that there is a great market here. There are great places to check out if your a DJ to see the club scene: Ala Moana has a couple of places, The O, the Top of Waikiki, etc...

Show him DVDs or videos & leave scenic pictures laying around the house. Also do your homework & find out places & activities in your price range & print them out, but don't become obsessed with it us men don't like that, you have to trick him into it being his idea. Use sublety & you womanly charm. Men are incredibly dumb in some areas, trust me I'm a man. Go during the off season, significantly lower airfare / room rates. Sept. - 2nd wk. in Dec. & Easter - 2nd wk. in Jun. Good luck! Also research stuff he'll like like fantastic golf courses, jetskis, (just like dirtbiking) Surfing, show him pictures of hula dancers & women on the beach w/ bikinis, ask tour co. to mail you brochures or download from internet.
