Actually in the summer most cod and haddock have worms Sounds gross, but this is very very normal. actually they get pulled out before being sold, but clearly not the case here. We used to see it once in a while at legal sea foods. We just pull them out and cook the fish. The worms will cook away and not be visable. Hate to say it, but you have probably already eaten them. Key is to cook the fish all the way.

White worms are usually maggots. They are NOT okay to eat. They are a sign that the meat is rotten.

No. Don't ever eat stuffs like that. These white worms may be killed but they carry eggs that will hatch inside your body. They may cause a great problem.

Not unless you are a catfish or turtle. It's dangerous to eat worms because you could get worms also.

you should definatly not eat the fish. think of it this way, worms have to get rid of bodily wastes too. now do you really want to be eating fish that has worm piss and crap in it.... i honestly hope not....
