1 a. The act of showing contempt or lack of reverence for God
b. The act of claiming the attributes of deity

You've got definitions but what it "means" is that you have no "fear" of God. In other words you do not respect His postion, influence or work with your attitude or language.
Essentially you dishonor Him with this act sometimes even attributing the work of God to someone or something else.
