No. Stopping is a VERY good and safe habit. Sadly, sometimes on a country road, 4-way stop, I'll forget and stop and wait for the sign to turn green (like it's a traffic light)....I snap out of it, when someone is behind me...longest I've sat at a stop sign was about 5 minutes once...I hate gettin' old.

I know I don't, I am teaching my teens to drive right now, and I want them to learn from example. You should always stop at a stop sign no matter what the circumstances are.

I live and drive in Florida, sometimes I wait on GREEN, so no, I stop and triple check before I go. It seems like every bad driver from every other state decided to move here..... all at the same time!!! :P

No. I obey the traffic laws at all times. It's a real p u s s y who does something when there is no cop around and then doesn't have the guts to break the law when they could get caught.

No cop, but maybe a kid on a bike, or even worse, a dog. You gotta stop for Fido's sake.

It shouldn't require a gimmick. You stop and you use your eyes and ears to tell you when it's safe. I don't care if you have to recite the Gettysburg Address. Don't go until it's safe.
