I'm 20. I've known this girl next door since I was in junior high. I always liked her, as gross as that may sound, and I found that now she likes me. She is 16 and a half. I still like her, but I'm afraid to pursue anything with her beacuse of her age. I'd be willing to wait for sex until she was at least 17 and a half, but how wrong is it to pursue a relationship?

there is no law law that says a consenting 16 year old cant have sex with someone older. If she were 14 ya thats a problem. But know one is going to jail in this case.

she's 16!!!!! and your 20. Dont do it....it would have been different had she been 17 and you like 18/19 but i'm telling you right now quit while you are ahead because soon things besides age will come up. How are you two going to hang out together in public? Or ever explain to your parents how your relationship really started???

Do you just want sex with this girl or a relationship? If you really care about her and want a relationship then just pursue getting to know her without sex (yeah I know that's though).
If you just want sex then don't hurt her, find someone over 18.

not very wrong.you got the waiting for sex thing down so pursue away.but don't do it in a stalker kind of way.make her aware of your feelings.tell her that you would rather wait for the sex it will make it more pleasurable for both of you.if she feels comfortable with you, you may not have to wait.just remember to wear a condom.if you were older like almost 30 i would call you a perv.good luck with what you seek.

Do not start a relationship with a minor. It will only cause you trouble or jail time. Try looking for another girl, there are plenty out there who are just right for you.

I don't think u should get invovled with her in any kind of way not even friendship wise due to the fact your both attracted to one another and your 20yrs old and next thing you know one thing will lead to another and i'm sure you don't want to lose your freedom behind a 16yr old girl yes I said girl cause that's what she is think about it!

wrong enough to go to jail. but that's not that big of an age difference and it wouldn't be any problem when she's 18, but right now it is.
