Here is a home remedy regimen for dry hair:
Use mayonnaise: Use a dollop of mayonnaise on the palm of the hand and massage it to the head and leave it on for five minutes before having the bath. The recommended time for the mayonnaise treatment is an hour.
Spray the beer: If you do not get any relief from using the mayonnaise, you can use beer as a good setting lotion that gives your hair the crisp, healthy and shiny look. You can pour some beer into an empty pump bottle and spray on the hair after shampooing and towel dry. Then you can style or blow-dry the hair.
Shampoo minimally: choose a shampoo for dry, damaged hair.
Condition your hair: Conditioner glues cuticles back to the shaft and lubricates them. It also prevents static electricity, thus preventing its frizzy appearance.
Cut off the split ends: Every six weeks or so

I would try a banana and honey hair mask.It will leave your hair with moisture plus it smells great.
You need:
1 ripe banana
2 teaspoons honey
large bowl
wooden spoon
plastic wrap
old towel
1. Squish up the banana in the bowl, add honey stir well.
2. Shampoo as usual, then smooth the gooey mixture onto damp hair. Wrap your hair in plastic wrap. Wrap a towel around that. It keeps the heat in and helps the mask work.
3. Relax for 10 min. then rinse hair well. and dry as usual.
Works wonders!
Then I would buy some Garnia frutise Conditioner. It is the BEST conditioner EVER.

I suggest loads of conditioner!!!!! What I like to do is shampoo in the shower then put on a crapload of conditioner and work it in really well. I wash the rest of me and then I rinse the conditioner out really well. All in all the conditioner sits in my hair for at least 5-7 minutes every night during a very warm shower with steam. I dye my hair a lot and people keep remarking on how healthy my hair looks even though I dye so often, I hope it helps!!!

I had a stupid beautician ruin my hair by leaving in a perm solution in too long once. It took a year to get my hair to the length to cut it and look healthy. In the meantime, I conditioned it every week. Go have it professionally done once and ask what they use. Then, go to Sally's Beauty Supplies and buy the stuff. You cannot ever overcondition your hair. It is good for your hair. I especially like hot oil products. Good luck.

go to a stylist for a consultation. Dont be cheap. you get whAT YOU pay for. they can give you ideas on different products and techniques
or just try a more expensive or different brand of moisturizing shampoo and condition (and the leave-in type of conditioner)
