I guess I don't understand the question. The only real way to find out if you like a hairstylist is to try them out.. or have someone else do it for you.

It does not matter how long a stylist has been cutting hair. I managed a salon. I had been licensed for only 2 years. My employees were ranging anywhere from 5-33 years. The most customer complaints were for the stylists who had the longest careers. They spent 13 and 33 years doing everything wrong.
