yeah, i think it is not uncommon. i remember visiting my mom when she had a spa cure in Slovakia, Europe. the water was carbonated. some springs smelled of sulphur, some not at all. warm soda water, that is it. the site was called Dudince, Slovakia.

Yep, one in Vichy France, and one in Northern Calif...(look up the Vichy Spa on th enet, it's in Calif)...I just saw a TV show about it over the weekend. The show mentioned a third one but I can't remember what the name is, but it is in Europe, that I do remember..

Yes there are though they are usually carbonated with sulfer gas.
