We were going to spend about $30.00 on each of our attendants gifts. Is that too cheap? we have 5 brides maids, 5 groomsmen and 4 kids. Also, what are some nice gifts to buy for them? I was thinking on getting nice necklaces for the ladies and girls to wear for the wedding. Good or bad idea?

I sell engraveable items (glasses, lighters, travel accessories, etc.). If you are interested, check out my eBay store http://stores.ebay.com/aphrodites-creations Also, if you need to order multiple items, I do offer a discount.

I don't have everything on my site just yet (it's a work in progress) so you may want to check out one of the companies I represent http://www.jdsmarketing.net/ Let me know if you see anything you're interested in.

Good luck!

I think the amount of the gift is entirely up to you if it's within the budget of your wedding. Your attendants will just be appreciative of the thought of the gift. I do like the idea of necklaces for the ladies and the girls to wear for the wedding as that will give them a keepsake of that special day. You can find many online wedding accessories websites that sell bridal jewelry and attendant gifts for very affordable prices. Engraved gifts for the men and boys would also make memorable keepsakes of your wedding. Good luck!

A great set of jewelry can be ordered from many bridal stores. Make sure to order anything at least 6 weeks ahead and make sure that your chains are long enough. I have ordered for several of my brides and I land out ordering extra length on all my pearl strands. If you choose to order chokers make sure that they are adjustable and also fit the style of the gowns.
For the guys get some thing they will really use. No money clips or cuff links. Beer mug with their names engraved are nice and at least get used.
For the girls definitely get a matching set to your bridesmaids or find something that has a little younger look. If you have some boys you can get a great mug that makes they look like one of the guys or if they are really little you may think of a piggy bank with his name engraved on the side.
Good luck.

Everything's relative. It depends on the size and costs of your wedding. In other words, if you're having a million dollar wedding, $30 would seem too little.

I think what matters is that it all comes from the heart and what you can afford. Necklace or bracelet are good ideas.

Woman love jewellery so yes that's a great idea. They will love the necklaces and especially since you picked them out. Whatever you choose its whatever is in your budget its your wedding and its a nice thank you for the girls for being a part of your bridal party. I know if i got one i would be more than happy to wear it:)

cool down. in case you prefer to operate something to the BM presents, upload some unexpsnive nail cropping contraptions and creams from the dollar keep. you will get lovable issues for little money there. maximum brides supply the BM jewely for the marriage, so i'd not be overly worried. so some distance because the GM presents, the beer mug is amazingly commom (my fiance has 3 GM beer mugs). What about cuff links? they're fairly unexpensive and functional. Personalizing expenses diverse money and no individual likes it besides. keep round for cuff links or a pen set and go away it at that. Congratulations and sturdy luck

i am having 6 girls and 10 guys (including ushers) and 2 kids.
some of the stuff i got the girls was super cheap...flip flops to change into at the reception so they are not running around w/bare feet ($2.50 --old navy.com & they match the dress!!). Lip gloss-stuff, tissues, like that
also--if you can get into any jewelry shows around your house you can find some awesome jewelry at great prices...i got over $100 off my necklaces because i bought 6!
be careful--it's easy to get sucked in to all of the crap they sell. Keep your girls in mind and you should be fine.
i tried to make the gifs personal to each girl. I am in the process of making each girl a CD with music that only WE would understand...super personal and super cheap!!! I think the girls are going to love it!
think about how you can make it special for them without spending a fortune
good luck!

$30.00 is more than enough. My gifts were the jewelry for my ladies to wear at the ceremony and for the guys they received a gift set of key ring and tire gauge

Personally, I'm spending about $30.00 on gifts for each of my girls.

I'm really big on Breast Cancer Research so I've gotten each of my girls a nice wedding themed canvas bag which I'm going to fill with a pink make-up bag with their initial plus Pink Ribbon, charm bracelets, rubber bracelets, sticky pads for notes and a pen. The money from my purchases is going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in honor of my Aunt who passed away almost 8 years ago. They all know how much I loved her so in thanking them for their participation, they are helping me honor my aunt's memory.

$30.00 is good, it is not cheap, but then again it is not about the price, You get them something to thank them for being in you wedding. I got my guys Zippos and beer steins with their names engraved ( smokers and Drinkers)
It is just a small thank you. My wife got her girls necklaces that matched their gowns.
