Buy the shampoo Nizoral AD. It comes in a little blue bottle and you can get it at pretty much any store. In the winter my scalp gets very itchy and it is the only thing that has ever helped me. Only use that shampoo 3 times a week or so, alternate it with a regular, but good quality, shampoo.

Suspect hair products and chemicals. Check your pillow and beddding, pillow itself and the case. Chuck the chicken feathers and the old poly pillows. Change to a natuarl shampoo. Rinse well in the shower, don't leave soap in your hair.
Don't use bar soap to wash your hair. Bar soap is made of animal renderings.
Good Luck

i would highly recommend going with neutrogena's T-Gel with 2% coal tar version. That should do the job and help relieve itch. it works great and surprisingly well, highly recommended.
